DIY Double Peplum Top with Ankara Short

This photo was taken on my birthday November 12th last month but I just didn’t get to uploading it from the sd card.

I thank God for guiding and protecting me till today. I thank HIM for the continuous grace upon me from my past, my present and the one I’m about to begin.

It was a very rough year for me personally but the ending of it was also the beginning of many awesome new phases and chapters in my life journey.

I’m nervous and at the same time very excited for the new beginning of this new year of my life. I’m very grateful for the breath of life.

I’m wearing a double peplum top I made a while ago (4-5yrs ago I think) and also a short pant I made right around the same time.

The top is a modified Vogue 8815 and the pant is a free hand self-drafted pattern. I also added a sash to it using the fabric I used for the pant. I did this to bring out the color of the pant since the length of the peplum is almost as long as the pant.
