DIY Ankara Crop Top

Hey Lovelies, Compliments of the season. Hope you all are planning for the holidays.

I made this crop top last summer using a leftover fabric that I have in my stash of fabrics. The last picture below is one of the dresses that I made with the fabric.

When I was cutting the crop top, my intention was to make it a little bigger, Maybe a size or two bigger to enable me easily wear a turtleneck sweater or a long sleeve sweater under it.

Well, that was exactly what I did but this particular day when I was about taking this picture, I realize I didn’t bring the long sleeve sweater with me so I decided to bear it out.

As we grow older and have had kids, there are some parts of our body that we are not comfortable exposing and my tummy and my inner belly button is one of mine.

Though I wasn’t confident at all taking this photos but I gave it a try anyway. I claim every after birth stretch marks and every skin cellulite that I have and I bare it out like a phenomenal woman.  🙂
