My Presumed Weekend Project – Simplicity 1283

I’ve been a very good fan of MimiGStyle for a while. This lady has motivated me in many ways when it comes to sewing. I’ve learned so many techniques from her tutorials. When I heard that she will be collaborating with Simplicity pattern I was so excited. I will be buying every one of her patterns, yep I said it, everyone. That’s how good she is and she has a step by step video for her patterns which is just so awesome.

To cut the story short, I got her first 2 new set of patterns. Simplicity 1283 and 1276 which I will be reviewing very soon.

For simplicity 1283 pictured above, I will be using a corduroy for the pant though the pattern indicated that knit will be preferable since its a fitted pant but I chose to use this corduroy because it has a little stretch. We’ll see how it comes up once I’m done. I will be using a stripped jersey knit for the top.

I’m so glad I’m finally settling down at my new place and back to sewing. Sewing has always been my go to place when I’m stressed out and just need to relax or think something through.

I was also able to clear out a little part of my basement for my sewing so Yay !!
