Hi Everyone,

Hope your week is going good so far. Hope you all had a nice weekend. My weekend wasn’t that good, I was a little bit sick. But I’m much better today.

Due to a lot of requests from my friends and fans, I will be doing a lot of sewing pattern reviews. To give you heads up on the patterns and my experiences with them.

I sketched 2 skirts once in my previous blog Here and wasn’t sure if to sew the 2 or just pick one. I decided to sew the 2 so what do you think of the outcome.

Pattern Description:  Skirt B5419

Fabric Used: Printed Cotton, African Ankara – you can buy some HERE.

Pattern Size: I used 10

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? I will say Yes. Though I didn’t use the step by step instruction because I already have idea of what I wanted to do with the pattern.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the pattern because it took me less than an hour to put it all together and the style is very easy to sew.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made? I added a little more flare to each side of the skirt and I also added a little bit of length to it.

Would you sew it again? Maybe. I will try using a knit when next I sew it again.

Would you recommend it to others? Yes. It’s very simple and could be easily put together.
